Espresso defines a high pressure method of extracting coffee, regardless of the coffee or roast used. While more traditionally it is a heavy bodied blend to stay consistent and cut through milk, we keep it fresh and crazy, constantly switching out different single origins, which means a unique coffee exploration every time//

Macciatto means marked or stained, and this is espresso marked with an once of milk foam.
(FYI the SB famous 'Caramel Macciatto' is really just an upside down vanilla latte, where the steamed milk with vanilla is 'marked' with the espresso and caramel sauce.)
Hot Take: Many specialty shops will pour mini latte art here which is impressive and adorable, but adds a significant amount of liquid milk to the espresso. We have decided to serve it with a dollop of milk foam, preserving more of the nature of the espresso below//
